No more bored children on holiday - at Boulders Lodge Mum and Dad can relax while the little ones play on the Jungle Gym and Foefie Slide which will keep them occupied for hours. A babysitting service is also available.

Boulders Lodge is proud to announce that we were chosen to host the VIP guests of South African Airways during the 2003 Presidents Golf Cup. In the past we have also been the choice of accommodation of a number of South African popstars and celebrities.

The Boulders Spa offers all wellness treatments such as full body massage, Indian Head massage, de-stress pamper, bridal packages (accommodation and treatments in one) as well as de-stress weekends.

ROOMS WITH JACUZZI SPA BATHS

Room Number 1 (1 Double bed)

Room 1 is our honeymoon suite and has just been completely redecorated and refurbished. It comprises of a double bed, dressing table and sitting corner with two seater couch. The room boasts underfloor heating which is lovely in winter. The en-suite consists of a large Jacuzzi spa bath and large shower and toilet tucked away for privacy. The theme is distinctly African with a warm glow that warms the heart of many honeymoon couples or people wanting that little bit extra. The room has large glass sliding doors which overlooks the pool area and also has its own private deck area.

Between rooms number 1 and 7 there is a interleading room with a three quarter bed that is ideal for families who want to use that room for a child / children. This room can be used by either rooms 1 or 7 (access from both sides). It has no bathroom. The price for this room is R100 per night.

Room Number 7 (1 Double Bed)

This room offers a double bed and has a Jacuzzi spa bath, with shower overhead, and the theme is a calm beige with a touch of lavendar and aquamarine.

Room Numbers 6 (1 Queen bed)

Room 6 is also called our Africa room, and is our second honeymoon suite - it has burnt orange walls, two rough stone pillars and the whole feeling is distinctly African (very popular with overseas guests). It has one queen bed, Jacuzzi spa bath in room, and a shower en-suite. It also has private outside entrance.

Rooms Number 8 (1 Queen Bed) & Room 9 (1 Double Bed)

These two rooms are adjacent and have the added bonus of sharing a wonderful wooden deck balcony from where guests can watch the beautiful Karoo sunset. They both have Jacuzzi spa baths and room 8 is a calm blue grey ethnic theme while room 9 is a predominantly classy cream colour. Room 8 is slightly bigger than room 9.

Room Number 2 (1 Double Bed)

This room has a clean symmetrical blue with a touch of pink theme. It has a beautiful view over the swimming pool with a big sliding door that opens onto the pool area. It has a luxury shower with a rounded wall with a seat in it.

Room Number 3 (1 Double Bed)

Room 3 is extremely popular and is called the heaven room or blue room. It has beautifully painted scenes of sky, birds, clouds etc. and has proved to be one of our best sellers. People tend to come back asking for the blue room. It is also beautiful for taking bridal pictures in. It has a beautiful view over the swimming pool with a big sliding door that opens onto the pool area. It has a luxury shower with a rounded wall with a seat in it.

Room Number 4 (1 Double & 1 Single Bed)

Room 4 is also often referred to as our “Lovenest” as it is painted a passionate red with animal print covers. It features a double bed and single daybed. It has a nice shower en-suite with heated towel rails.

Room Numbers 5 (1 Double & 2 Single Beds)

Room 5 is a big room with a double bed and two single beds, ideal for a family. It has a shower en-suite and private outside entrance.

All rooms are airconditioned, have tea/coffee making facilities and are serviced by Satellite TV. Guests’ vehicles/tourbuses are washed overnight at no charge(subject to weather, water-restrictions and Night Porter Availibiliy).

On the deck outside we have a large warm Jacuzzi and picturesque pool. Boulders overlook the Cango Wildlife Ranch and guests can sometimes go to sleep with the growling of cheetahs and lion in the background. We are the last property on the edge of town (en route to Cango caves) and herd of springbok and the odd camel visit the fence.

We offer 24 hour service with a security guard coming on at 21h00 in the evening until 07h00 the next morning.

From the North (Johannesburg and Pretoria) From De Rust you will enter Oudtshoorn on Voortrekker Road, at Saddles Restaurant, turn right into Baron van Reede St and about 2km further you will turn right into High Street and immediately left into Bruwer Street. Follow Signs.
