Mes Amis

Mes Amis Guest House accommodation is located right on the beachfront of Wilderness beach, near George on the Garden Route. Elegant accommodation in 9 en suite rooms with private entrances and unsurpassed sea views of the Indian ocean. Guest accommodation and facilities are separate from our own, affording guests a level of privacy not normally associated with guest house accommodation.

Pristine beaches, the Wilderness National Park and our proximity to Knysna, Plettenberg Bay, Mosselbay, George and Oudtshoorn makes Mes Amis the ideal base for exploring the Garden Route. Laze the day away watching the dolphins from your private patio: perhaps you will need a break after enjoying our a la carte breakfast. Mes Amis is a non-smoking guest house. Small pets are welcome, as are Children over 12.

All rooms are sea facing, with superb sea views and modern en-suite facilities. Sliding doors lead onto a private sea facing patio, furnished with a table and chairs. All rooms have private entrances.

Each room is equipped with a safe, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, robes and slippers, an espresso machine and tea making facilities, as well as a TV with satellite channels. The fully stocked mini bar in each room provides refreshment at reasonable rates. Free Wifi Internet access is available in all rooms.

Mes Amis guests have private access to the Wilderness beach. There is also a pool in a protected and sunny corner of the house.
Guests have exclusive access to two elegant guest lounges, each equipped with honesty bars, books and board games. There is also an honesty freezer containing a range of excellent frozen meals cooked by our staff, who benefit from the profits. In addition a microwave oven and crockery and cutlery are provided in the breakfast lounge for use by our guests throughout the day.

Mes Amis is renowned for its full service a la carte breakfast, served in our breakfast room overlooking the beach. Freshly baked muffins are just the start of this great breakfast - see the sample menu below. Of course, we are happy to accommodate any special dietary requirements:- vegan, Halaal etc.

Directions to Mes Amis

Mes Amis is located on the N2 between George and Knysna. From George: 2.5k past the Caltex garage in Wilderness (on the left), you will find Buxton Close on the right.

From Knysna: 1.4k past the Caltex garage and the Wilderness Beach Hotel on the left, find Buxton Close on the left.
We are the second house in Buxton Close.
