Zuurberg Mountain Inn

The Zuurberg Mountain Inn is a Country Hotel set in true African scenic splendour, with a wealth of history dating back to the 1850’s. With the Greater Addo Elephant National Park on its doorstep, Zuurberg Mountain Inn has become a popular getaway. After trekking up the ‘first road to Johannesburg,’ guests are accommodated in thatched-roof cottages, or in the old original 1861 Manor House. All our accommodation is furnished to meet international standards.

Directions to Zuurberg Mountain Inn

Take the N2 towards Grahamstown. You will pass the entrance to Blue Water Bay. You will see the Coega project on your left hand side. You will see the exit for the R335 (Motherwell / Markman) on your left hand side. Please turn left and continue with this road. You will come to the small town called ADDO. Please continue with the road. You will go across a railway crossing. You will travel a further 8 km till you see our turnoff on your left hand. You will turn left onto a gravel road and travel a further 16 km till you reach the hotel.
